Reminder
The Moods Palette offers an indication of someone’s ability to lead life in each mood. The larger the colored bubbles the more able they are at that mood.
The Moods Signature offers an indication on which moods someone prefers to use. Their Home mood is the furthest to the left, followed by their most Comfortable moods. Moods displayed in brackets & dotted box are their Uncomfortable moods.
LUCY
With a T~ Home mood and T- as her second most Comfortable mood, Lucy comes across most often as a highly driven perfectionist. She can get quite stroppy when things don’t go according to (her) plans.
In those rare moments when she lets her hair down, her F+ and F~ come to the fore, giving her a congenial and charming quality that can take many people by surprise.
Trying to talk her into things (T+) or showing her compassion (F-) will really rub her up the wrong way! It will always work better for her if you can tell her directly what you want.
GEORGE
George can come across to some people as slightly manic-depressive! This is because the bounciness of his first and third moods, (F+ and T+) contrasts so strongly with the languid & withdrawn qualities of his F-.
His personality is one of fits and starts, with little inclination for going things at a steady pace, whether it’s engaging with people (F~) or tackling a to do list (T~).
With him, it’s always better to avoid direct criticisms (T-) of his current efforts, and much better to accept (F-) or re-direct on the fly (F+, T+ ).
BEN
Ben is sometimes described as verging on having borderline personality disorder! He can appear highly energetic and positive one minute (T+), smiling and charming (F+) to all and sundry, and downright rude (T-) to a dear friend the next.
All it takes is for someone to say or do something illogical in his eyes. He may regret it quickly (F-) and sometimes try badly to placate others (F~), but unless you have a thick skin, you’ll shy away from the whiplash!
You can pretty much talk him into anything (T+, F+), as long as your rationale stacks up (T-). But never, ever boss him around (T~)!
ZIGGY
With an F- Home mood and three F moods in his top four, Ziggy is a wise (F-), charming (F+) and very easy (F~) person to interact with.
He has only one Uncomfortable mood, which makes him a very rounded character in anyone’s book. It takes a lot to ruffle him, and short of direct orders (T~) he will always be open to your point of view and your needs.
With two minus moods in his top three, Ziggy oozes the chilled vibe of a surf dude slacker … but don’t underestimate him. His T- gives him an inner strength and a razor-sharp mind.
SIMON
Simon comes across as a bit of a business drone, and quite an intense individual.
With a T- Home mood, he’s a very hard man to please, and with the two other T moods in his top four, conversation with him can very soon become a battle of expertise (T-), status (T~) or stamina (T+).
What’s more, Simon’s got very little patience for what he sees as flaky (F+) and manipulative (F~) exchanges of smiles and niceties. Dour is the name. However, deeply buried inside his hard shell is a genuine concern for others (F-), but you have to fight hard to see it!
KATIE
Katie is often alluded to as a bit of a Pollyanna, even by her dearest friends! When life is kept within the confines of cheerful social interactions she positively excels (F+, F~) and she’s a delightful person when centre-stage, as well as highly organised off it (T~).
With T+ and T- both low down her Signature, Katie is sometimes prone to disappearing acts if the conversation gets a bit too “fighty” for her taste. And with as another not fully developed mood, she is also very poorly equipped to deal with her own or other’s distress, especially when being criticised about it (T-).
